known as dog jumping, the sport of dock diving is a rapidly growing sport in the United
States. Anyone can enter his or her dog in a Dock Dog Competition, the only requirements
are that the dog is at least six months old and is current on all shots. There is always
open dock practice time at each event and staff members to help you. Palmetto Dock Dogs is
an affiliate club of DockDogs, Inc. and is a non-profit organization that benefits different
canine charities. Palmetto Dock Dogs membership is open to anyone with any breed, size, or age dog. |

Saturday 3pm
| If snakes make you a little squeamish be prepared as the festival is adding a snake presentation
to our schedule entitled, “Snakes in Our Own Backyard”. How much do we really know about snakes that are
in our own backyard? Are we so deathly afraid of serpents that we put ourselves in danger just to try to
kill a harmless specimen? Are we telling our children the truth about them? Give us a chance to change
that fear into respect! Brad Jones leads this outdoor experience. |

Children may not be ready to collect the real thing, but here is a way to keep
them and their parents happy. This year the featured decoy to paint is the beautiful pintail
or if your child prefers a squirming 20” wooden snake to make their own! We invite the children
be creative and paint their pieces as they see them in their imagination! Happy Painting!!
