Free carer tickets are not available for children 12 years and under but can still apply for the accessible add-ons. If you need to buy a Teen ticket and apply for a free carer please tick the box on the confirmation form and we will send you a link to purchase the Teen ticket.

We aim to process all applications within four weeks of customers submitting an application, however, at busy times this may not be possible and it may take longer.

Once your application has been approved, we will send a confirmation email detailing the facilities you have been booked into confirming your PA Ticket (if applicable).

Accessible customers aged 13 and over as at 20 June 2024 are entitled to apply for one free PA ticket. The carer must be at least 18 years as at 20 June 2024. The role of the carer is to accompany and assist the disabled customer and should be with them at all times.

Carers should familiarise themselves with the Festival site and facilities so they can assist the disabled customer fully during their time at the Festival. Carers cannot bring children in with them. Any children in the same party must be with another ticket holding, non-carer adult unless they are the children of the access customer.

There are viewing platforms for Access customers next to the Main Stage and in the Big Top. You can apply for a space on the viewing platforms, whether you are a Camper or a Non-Camper. Please do not apply for access to the viewing platforms unless you are a wheelchair user or have serious mobility issues as there is limited space.

The viewing platforms are controlled by a wristband system and managed by the Access Manager. To ensure they run smoothly, each platform has its own stewards and security team. All platforms have ramp access and wheelchair-accessible toilets. The main stage viewing platform is open-air with no cover, so please dress appropriately.

The Accessible A wristband entitles you and your PA only access to the viewing platform. Limited seating is also available at each platform, however, Access Customers are welcome to bring their own (where space allows).

We operate our platforms/areas on a first come, first served basis and whilst we try to ensure that we have sufficient space for everyone, demand varies by artist and at times there may be a wait.

Please do not attempt to set up a camp during the day on the Viewing Platforms, if you leave the platform please take all your belongings with you.

Please note the Platforms are NO SMOKING areas, this includes e-cigarettes & vapes.

We work hard to ensure that customers with accessible needs – and their PAs, friends and families – are welcomed at the Isle of Wight Festival.

One of the ways we do this is by designating the camping area closest to the Main Stage for disabled camping, campervans and parking.

This designated camping field with its own car parking field located next to it, has the following facilities:

• Access loos
• Access showers
• Mobiloo HDU
• Wheelchair charging
• Accessible sink
• Secure fridge for medicine storage
• Lockers and phone charging (purchased online before the festival)
• Food and drink concessions

The campsite has its own manager and night manager who will be able to help and advise.

Although the site is mostly flat and generally easy to get around, please be aware that the ground conditions may cause problems in certain areas.

If you would like to bring a campervan and camp in the Access Campsite please tick the campervan box on the confirmation form and we will send you a link to purchase the ticket if we have space available.

You can buy a standard campervan ticket or a campervan ticket with an electric hook up for the weekend.

You will be allocated a 7m x 7m plot when you arrive at the Festival, please keep within this area.

Please do not purchase a campervan ticket directly from Ticketmaster. Please do not turn up on spec in a Campervan without a permit as we will not be able to accommodate you.

If you are an Access Customer staying in the main campsite, please notify the Access Team in your application. We are still able to provide a PA ticket and wristbands for you and your PA to use the shuttle bus and buggy services around the Festival site and access loos.

We will not be able to replicate the same facilities as we do in our Access Campsite, so there may be fewer accessible loos in these campsites. There will be longer distances to walk into the Arena from these campsites. 

If you are coming to the Festival as a Non-Camper you can park your car in the main Festival car parks. You can buy your car parking ticket on the day, but we recommend that you book it in advance when buying your Festival ticket. Please be aware that the car parks are located a fair distance from the main entertainment fields and you will need to walk a considerable way. There is an accessible parking area within the main car parks - please bring proof of disability and ask stewards to direct you when you arrive in your vehicle.

We offer a limited number of parking spaces in the grass car park at Gate A6. You will need to apply for one of these, when booking your Festival ticket. Please be aware that these are allocated on a first come first served basis to customers who would otherwise not be able to attend and customers in wheelchairs and with severe walking difficulties will be prioritised.

Alternatively, you can arrange to be dropped off at Gate A6 and enter the Festival from there which brings you into the Main Arena.

The Isle of Wight Festival is a large, multi-stage event spread across a linear green field site. There are areas which are difficult to navigate for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. The Festival site is not flat and you will encounter areas of rough terrain which could be made worse by wet weather or extremely dry weather.

If you book accessibility, you will be able to use our shuttle bus within the Festival site but please be aware that the shuttle bus is subject to delays and has limited capacity and you may have to wait.

The Festival can be very busy and noisy at certain times, particularly around the Main Stage and Big Top. There are likely to be queues to collect tickets and wristbands, for the access loos and to buy food and drink. Several of our bars have lowered bar fronts- please check the website nearer the time for the names and locations of these bars.

If you are not camping in the access campsite, not booked into the parking at Gate A6 and arriving by Festival bus or arriving by car you will be entering at Gate A2 (car) or Gate A3 (bus). Please be aware that it is a long walk into the main arena on fairly uneven ground. The nearest shuttle bus collection point is a reasonable walk into the Festival from Gate A3 – please be prepared for this before booking your ticket. We do not operate buggy transport for access customers groups.

Free PA tickets and Access A and B wristbands will be collected when you arrive at the Festival. They will not be posted in advance. Free PA tickets will not show in your Ticketmaster account. Access customers (adults and teens) will need to bring PHOTO ID to collect their free carer ticket and Access wristbands. Only photo ID is acceptable.

Our accessible facilities are not for customers with temporary injuries or for pregnant customers. If you suffer an injury prior to the Festival please consider whether you will be able to cope with the terrain and the necessary walking around the Festival before you attempt to attend.
